Descripción

• The article presents BIBLIOMÉDIA, Association of Libraries for the Cooperation, founded on 1991, from the existing cooperation informal between the Municipal Libraries of Felgueiras, Guimaraes, Póvoa de Varzim and Vila Nova de Famalicao. Bibliomedia Was born like a fundamental way to contact with the public reading of the region of Between Douro Minho, with more than 25 institutions associated, among them nine libraries and diverse cultural associations, private and scholastic libraries, that contribute to extend their area and to make the results more effective, coordinating efforts for the creation of conditions of democratic access of the citizens to the books and the information.
