- This work studies the information resources specialised in plastic arts with high information level, mainly in spanish.The aim of the study is to find out the value of knowledge management applied to information affected by new formats and distribution methods. In order to find, evaluate and classify these, a method using digital contents via internet is proposed. The applied methodology consists of the sistematic selection of national and international directories, the entering of these into a database and further evaluation. In order to show the proposed classification, we would present different specialised sources of information. The conclusión leads to an analysis of the current information environment taking into account the expansion of web technology and the new roles of information managers and centres (like museums and libraries).
