Descripción

• The School-Library Programme, a reading promotion project initiated by the Bertelsmann Foundation in 1998 and celebrating its fi fth anniversary in 2004, starts now an extension phase so that new municipalities may have access to the experience gained in the implementation of this Programme by seven Spanish cities. The programme is a systematic and global approach to reading promotion integrating a great number of book-related activities and relying on a variety of both agents – professors, librarians, local coordinators, etc. – and spaces – educational centres, libraries, public spaces, etc. – to carry out the diverse actions of the Programme.
