- Project presented as final work at the Curso de Especialización en Gestión de Unidades de Información (Specialization Course in Units of Information Management), organized by the Dirección Nacional del Sistema Nacional de Capacitación of the Instituto Nacional de la Administración Pública, in which participated the main libraries of the national public sector. The paper is one of the steps of the Program for the Preservation and Diffusion of the National Collection of Foklore for 1921, belonging to the Documentation Center Juan Alfonso Carrizo, through the microfilming of its records and the transcription of its contents into digital format. The collection is the unique of the some of the most significant manifestations of the argentine intangible inheritance. Its preservation will allow to enlarge the possibilites of getting in touch with the valuable information it contains, with the intention of strengenthening its use in the area of investigation of several disciplines, to favour aplications in the educational scope and to spread an outstanding issue of the country’s collective, historical and folkorical memories.
