- The Library, as an institution of knowledge and information consists one of the most important and famous organizations. Its worthy and multilateral role is considered to be a self-evident element. The Library is a place of education, information, research and social action. It is the place where users have the ultimate capability to get to know with library’s collections and search for information with the help of staff experts. Nowadays, it is being characterized as an information service, which offers to the users the opportunity to track and retrieve the knowledge they are interested in with a direct, rapid and prompt way from every geographical location. The new reality with the strong presence of computing and technologies changes the whole meaning of the conventional library. The emphasis is being given to the capabilities of qualitative and imminent information and the essential aim of this fact is the support of learning, research and teaching without the limitations of time and location, which the conventional library set.
