Content accessibility in e-learning platforms is considered a strategic resource to improve competitiveness, efficacy and efficiency of the teaching activity. Moreover, it is thought as an essential element to guarantee the integration of all students and facilitate their access to knowledge. The main aspects for accessible educative content generation are introduced, the web resources accessibility of the e-learning platform of the Comlutense University of Madrid are analysed and a series of improvements are proposed. It is concluded that the content of the e-learning platform should be steadily improved and adapted to international standards. Besides, the managers of e-learning innovation should generate guidelines for teachers on how to generate accessible contents
