• Report giving an overview about the conference "BuecherFrauenBibliotheken" (BooksWomenLibraries) that took place in November 2006 in Vienna. The conference dealt with the image of women librarians in fiction and motion pictures; women librarians who were discriminated against, displaced, or even murdered by fascist regimes in Austria; the history of women's employment in the Austrian national library; the project "Gipfelbibliothek"; and the important collection "library of hungarian women".
