- This book (The Stake of Intellectuals) was given the award of the Ministry of the Popular Power for Culture of the Bolivarian Government of the Republic of Venezuela on May 2007. The book verses through 31 essays, about the book and libraries burning (bibliocastia) and therefore the burning of the works of intellectuals, and in many cases the physical burning of intellectuals' own bodies.
