La formación de usuarios y alfabetización informacional en la BPE de Salamanca “Casa de las conchas”

For the BPE (Public Library of the State) of Salamanca, the users training service has been always a priority and is part of the its habitual operation since its starts. The first training programs –in our case we refer always to adults, since the library does not have Children Room– they began in the years 95/96. Since then they have been carrying out a continued programme, with the needed changes and developments to adapt to the new demands of the society and to the concrete situations of the collective attendants. In this article it is offered a description of the past and the current Users Training Service in this library.
