Apunts sobre la Phillips Exeter Academy Library

Descripción
  • Discussion of the texts written by the architect Louis I. Kahn on his plans for the library of the Phillips Exeter Academy, in Exeter (United States). In them, Kahn reflects on the ideal form and features of a library building, with zones differentiated by function: exhibit of materials, contacts among users and between the materials and the users (use and reading). Also mentioned is the influence exerted on these concepts by the library plan of Étienne-Louis Boullée, an 18th century architect.
