Descripción

• This paper analyses the information policies in Spain that protect the human right of access to information, specially those regarding web accessibility and users with particular disabilities who should have the same right to access to digital content in Internet. The paper studies the main standards promoted by W3C-Web Accessibility Initiative, namely: User Agent Accessibility Guidelines, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, Authoring Tools Accessibility Guidelines. Finally it pays attention to the role of libraries on information accessibility in the Web, particularly Spanish Libraries in the net and the accessibility needed for their websites.
