The main contributions of the Second International Conference on University Libraries entitled “Electronic Publishing and Library Services” are described in the document. The conference took place in Mexico City in 2003 and was organized by the General Directorate for Libraries (DGB) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The event consisted of five roundtables: 1.) Digital books in the digital age; 2.) Electronic Journals: management and challenges; 3.) Digital Thesis and Dissertations: a new resource of information; 4.) Rare books and Special Collections: from digitalization to preservation; 5.) Electronic Document Supply.
