- Las condiciones de conservación de materiales de naturaleza cinematográfica, magnética y óptica, centran la presente investigación. A tal efecto, tras revisar los hitos principales de su evolución, se expone su composición y se consideran las patologías que sufren, para señalar después las condiciones ambientales para su buena conservación. En segundo término, se examina el tipo de material magnético. Paralelamente al caso anterior, se contempla la evolución, la composición físico-química y las condiciones óptimas de conservación. Finalmente, se aborda el material óptico, viendo su desarrollo histórico, su naturaleza física y las condiciones externas para su adecuada conservación. | This article focuses on the conditions for the conservation of motion-picture film, magnetic and optical media. First, filmic materials are analyzed. In order to do so, an outline to the main landmarks in their historical development is offered, then both their composition and their most common pathologies are looked into, and finally the environmental and biotic conditions for a correct preservation are given. Secondly, magnetic materials are examined. Just as in the previous case, their evolution, physical and chemical composition, and best preservation conditions are studied. Finally, we deal with optical materials, we see their historical development, physical characteristics and the external conditions needed for their adequate preservation.
